After going through this site, I wish each of the Marine Squadrons had a similar site. It's full of great information and priceless photos. I congratulate you on making this such an enjoyable visit.

I have really enjoyed your website. I have found it captivating as I do all stories and photos from the the folks that lived through the war. My own mother's first husband joined the Marines on December 9, 1941. He would later fight at Tarawa and Iwo Jima. I have nothing but undying respect and admiration for these folks. I have studied this era in American and aviation history all my life. My great uncle was a designer for Lockheed and worked primarily on the Constellation. I have a passion for the B-25 Marine and Army gunships and the couragous crews and the ground personnel that kept them going. You have my heartfelt thanks for sharing this wonderful website.

Outstanding web site! My father was a member of VMB-613 during this period. Sadly, my father (Matthew Martincevic) passed away in December 2000. To those members of 613 who are still with us and to those who have passed, I render a hand salute and a sincere Thank You for your service. You will always be part of America's greatest generation!

What a terrific web site!! I am conducting interviews for the Library of Congress Veterans Oral History Project and just interviewed a crew member of the VMB-613. Your web site provided me with a wealth of information about the unit. Thanks!

I have checked out the website many times to keep up on what's new. I am doing research on all the Marine PBJ Squadrons with a special interrest in accidents and incidents both state side and in the Pacific. If anyone has photos or information on any accident or incident I would appreciate hearing from you. All photos will be promptly copied and returned! Hangar Queen and Parts Department photos are also appreciated.

Great website and well done! I am a Marine who served from 74-78 working on T-28's and CH-46's (Plane Captain and Crew Chief).

You have done a tremendous job developing the VMB-613 website. It is an excellent, informative source of reference for anyone interested in the facts and history of the squadron. Your dedication to create a tribute worthy of these men who served is evident and admirable. I would say, 'Keep up the good work'...but I know you'll do that without any prompting.

Semper Fi!
