All versions of the
PBJ-1 were armed with thef Browning M-2 .50
caliber machine gun. Each machine gun weighed 64 pounds and had a
length of 56 inches. With a muzzle velocity of 2,854 feet/second,
it had a maximum effective range of 2,000 yards, and a cyclic rate of
fire of 850 rounds/minute.
