Sergeant Robert H.
Buckner and Staff Sergeant Charles D. Tavalire doing their laundry in
the squadron supply area with a make-shift washing machine. Using
the power of the constant wind on Kwajalein and some ingenuity, many
wind powered washing machines were constructed with available materials
and used by squadron members.
