This Monogram 1/48 scale model was constructed by Scott Pederson in 1998 and placed in two West-Coast modeling competitions.  Scott, a Professor of Biology at South Dakota State University, is an avid modeler who has constructed an array of unusual naval aircraft.  Additional photographs of his fine work may be seen on his webpage, Bombers in Blue & Bombers in Yellow.
