REUNION INFORMATION
The 2008 VMB-613 reunion will be held in on board the Marine Corps Base at Quantico, Virginia from 14 through 18 May 2008.
There are ten (10) rooms on hold for us at the Crossroads Inn and there is a possibility that we could get a few more. Double bed room rates are $64 per night. Efficiency rooms and two-room suites are also available for a slightly higher rate.
Those planning to attend should call and make reservations immediately. The telephone number to make reservations is: 800-965-9511. When calling, ask for Jackie Holder or Tina Lawrence. Be sure to mention you are attending the VMB-613 Reunion. Our Group Number is 1197.

Bob will also need to know if you plan to drive or will be flying to the reunion. So far, about five members plan to drive. Those flying are advised that Reagan National Airport in Washington has been recommended as they have better access to connecting flights. In addition, a number of shuttle service options are available from the airport to Quantico for an additional charge.
The tentative reunion schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, May 14 - Arrival and greeting time.
Thursday, May 15 - Bus trip to Washington to visit various memorials.
Friday, May 16 - Visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps. At 5:00PM depart via bus for visit to Marine Barracks, Washington to attend the Evening Parade and performance of the Silent Drill Team.
Saturday, May 17 - More time to visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps and various locations on the base. At 3:00PM we will depart for a special treat at the house of the daughter of VMB-613 squadron member Chuck Duvall to be wined and dined.
Sunday, May 18 - Depart for home to rest up for the next reunion!
